Intact Place is classified as an “A” Office Tower and is located in the centre of downtown Calgary, Alberta on the corner of 2nd Street and 6th Avenue S.W.
It consists of two office towers with a combined square footage of 459,637, and is home to over 40 commercial and retails tenants. Three plus 15 systems connect to other major office buildings, parkades and major shopping centres in the downtown core. The building also provides a fully equipped multi media conference centre, secure bike cage, storage, secure shower facilities, 24 hour security, numerous retail tenants and over 200 underground parking stalls. Access to city transit, including both city buses and Calgary’s Light Rail Transit (LRT) is accessible right outside the front doors of the building.

Intact Place LEED GOLD Certification
In 2018 Intact Place received Gold Certification for LEED® Canada EB:O&M (Existing Building: Operations & Maintenance)! Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) is a third-party certification program and an internationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED® Canada EB:O&M is a building rating system administered by the Canada Green Building Council, a national non-profit organization. The process helps building owners and operators to measure operations, improvements and maintenance on a consistent scale, with the goal of maximizing operational efficiency while minimizing environmental, resource and health impacts. Our Gold certification distinguishes Intact Place real estate industry leader in sustainability, achieving the second highest certification in this category.
In 2016, Intact Place received BOMA BEST Gold certification, the second highest level in the program. The BOMA BEST program is a national environmental recognition and certification program for commercial buildings in Canada. It was designed, developed and is administered by BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) Canada and BOMA Calgary. BOMA BEST Gold certification is for buildings that score 80 per cent or higher on the BOMA BEST assessment of best practices and sustainable programs and systems.

The prestigious BOMA 360 Performance Program® validates and recognizes commercial properties that demonstrate best practices in building operations and management. Intact Place won the 2016 Outstanding Building of the Year Award in the category of Office Building 250,000 – 499,999 SQ FT at the annual BOMA Canada (Building Owners and Managers Association) Awards held in Regina SK on Thursday, September 22, 2016.
